The Culinary Pet is a company founded on selecting and offering only American produced proteins. It’s a brand dedicated to the health and longevity of our own cats and dogs and contains only one ingredient–meat protein. With 19 years of experience in the pet-food industry, we chose to create a product with one important ingredient–meat. Our products are select cuts (not trimmings or scraps). None of our proteins have ever been in a pet food manufacturing plant. Any human-grade meat that does enter a pet-food plant must be labeled “non-human grade”. Culinary Pet is offering high quality, human-grade proteins without cheap fillers like beef liver, gums, & grains. Our products are considered a supplemental food rather than a “complete meal”. We believe the pet owner should provide their own fresh supplemental nutrients and vitamins. Additives are cooked down during any canning process and become nutritionally ineffective. This is why we offer only a human-grade protein for your pets to provide the building block for a healthy long life. Culinary Pet is not a pate’ as seen in most processed pet foods. Our products are slices of the best meats in America. Our products are processed in a USDA inspected plant located in the United States. We produce and offer human-grade canned beef, pork, chicken and turkey. Each can is hand packed then fully cooked at our facility. We are family owned and take pride in the high quality of our product. Discerning pet owners stock extra cans for emergencies, excursions or for the convenience of a ready-made, ready-to-serve canned protein. Our Founder has had over 30 dogs during his life and became discouraged with losing his beloved pets to illness, suffering and pain. Each time he lost a beloved pet, the veterinarian said it was poor nutrition from the particular pet food he was feeding. He started preparing food in his own kitchen and eventually neighbors wanted the home- cooked meats. The day came when he took that home-made product and offered it to consumers who were demanding only the best and healthiest products for their pets. In 2024, The Culinary Pet will introduce an incredibly healthy kibble with very limited ingredients produced only in America.
